The Strategic Investment Advisors team at BOK Financial has implemented several changes to the WealthBuilder program. The changes are summarized below. Please note that the changes were implemented at the strategy level. Actual trades might vary in each account, depending on the account size and cash flows.
The Asset Allocation Committee met on April 10th and recommended several tactical changes. The Committee remain modestly constructive on the market and decided to maintain an underweight in fixed income and an overweight in equity. The decision was made, however, to increase developed international and emerging market equity as those markets become more attractive based on their valuation and growth trajectory. Those increases were funded from REITs, resulting in a neutral allocation to the broad alternative asset class. The Committee believe that a more nuanced approach to equity investing is warranted in the current market environment and slightly reduced the small cap allocation in favor of mid cap within the domestic equity space.
The changes summarized below are based on the Balanced objective. They may vary in the other investment objectives.
Tactical Asset Allocation Changes
- Broad Asset Class Changes:
- Increased equity
- Decreased alternatives
- Changes within Equities:
- Increased developed international
- Increased emerging markets
- Increased US mid cap
- Decreased US small cap
- Changes within Alternatives:
- Reduced REITs
- Added PIMCO Income Fund (PIMIX)
