Christine holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). She has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry with an expertise in the areas of executive liability and surety.

Christine’s 30+ years in the business includes more than 13 years of experience with publicly traded companies, 21 years handling privately owned and non-profit entities as well as more than 20 years in the surety business. Christine has experience on the insurance company underwriting along with the insurance broker side of the business handling accounts from a wide variety of industries and of various sizes.

Immediately prior to joining HUB, Christine served as the Executive Liability Managing Account Executive for Oklahoma and Arkansas at Travelers Insurance Companies. Although Christine’s most recent prior work experience was in the Oklahoma and Arkansas marketplace, her background includes working in the St. Louis and Chicago markets as well as placing business in the New York market.

Christine’s experience includes analyzing policy language to ensure clients have the best coverage available, marketing to and negotiating with the carriers in order to secure the most competitive insurance program for our clients, developing and maintaining solid relationships with the individual underwriters as well as keeping informed as to current appetites and available capacity in the market. Christine has experience working closely with clients and the markets on insurance programs customized to meet the needs of clients including layered programs involving multiple carriers.

Cathy is an Account Executive in the Healthcare Practice Group.  She has been with HUB International Mid-America since 1993, when she received her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.  Cathy has more than 30 years’ experience in many aspects of commercial insurance, and received her agent’s license in 1991.  Much of that time has been spent serving the Healthcare industry, where she specializes in understanding the application processes and exposures basis needed for underwriting.  To further her knowledge of the industry, Cathy has studied at advanced continuing education classes, including the Insuring Healthcare Providers seminar.

Gaye brings 18 years of experience to the Benefits Community Business Group processing renewals, new business, claim issues and all aspects of benefits administration.  She has worked as a benefits administrator on the employer side and as an account manager with Gallagher Benefit Services and an agency producer for Farmers Insurance. Gaye has a Life & Health License, is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and she serves on the Family Advisory Council at St. Francis Children’s Hospital.
