The UPAL International Pooled Fund is a diversified international equity portfolio comprised of strategies that focus on foreign companies. Recently, the fund added an allocation to a small cap developed market strategy to complement the existing allocations to a large cap developed market strategy and an emerging market strategy. The DFA International Small Company Fund seeks broadly diversified exposure to smaller companies in developed markets outside of the U.S. The fund invests in the following regions: China, Japan, Asia Pacific, United Kingdom, and Europe. The addition of this fund to the International Pooled Fund provides participants with a more diversified international option and could improve risk-adjusted returns for the pooled fund.
